THE POWER OF EXPERIMENT

THE POWER OF EXPERIMENT workshop aims at exploring strategies for collaborative learning and practice, working through collective conceptualization and action, with and around 3 exeperiments: FORMULATE, FORMALIZE, PERFORM. The workshop aims also at testing the possibilities of such collaborative strategies and methods through a speculative and performative building experiment.
These 4 days experiment will focus on expanded notions of thinking/designing/building to produce
a common space, that does not focus on the ability of architecture to reproduce, represent or serve
a certain use, but on the performative power of building.

THE POWER OF EXPERIMENT is the Nordic Sattelite of 4th Lisbon Architecture Triennale with the 
motto 'THE FORM OF FORM' and is a Workshop-Exhibition-Book. 

THE POWER OF EXPERIMENT is joining Nordic and Portuguese architecture students and is a
hands-on workshop based in Nordic experimental pedagogies. From 3–6 October 2016 is part of the opening week of the Lisbon Architecture Triennale (5-8 October) and participants are welcome to visit
the events and exhibitions of the opening week from the 5th of October onwards.

THE POWER OF EXPERIMENT is an Artéria project, produced by Lisbon Architecture Triennale and TRANSIBERIA.
